Shine On Property Pros Service Agreement & Work Authorization
This Agreement is between Shine On Property Pros (a d/b/a of 890 Designs LLC) located at 3330 Duncan Bridge Drive (“we” or “Service Provider”) and you, the Client.
When this Agreement starts: It becomes effective as soon as you approve the estimate, proposal, or invoice.
Digital Acceptance. This Agreement is part of every estimate or invoice we send you. By approving an estimate (by signing, clicking “Approve,” or accepting it by email or text), you agree to all the terms below. A separate signature on this document is not required.
1. What We Will Do
We will only perform the services listed on your approved estimate. This may include soft washing, pressure washing, surface cleaning, gutter cleaning, handyman repairs, painting, minor plumbing or electrical work, lock changes, deck/fence repairs, and rental turnovers.
Anything not listed on the estimate is extra and needs your approval (and may cost more).
2. Soft Washing & Pressure Washing
Please understand:
-
Soft washing uses cleaning solutions at low pressure. Pressure washing uses higher pressure.
-
We take care to protect your property, but we are not responsible for:
-
Water that gets inside because of existing gaps, bad caulk, loose siding, or damaged seals
-
Damage to surfaces that are already peeling, weak, or in poor condition
-
Effects on plants or grass if they were not protected
-
Mold or algae that grows back later
-
Damage to screens or items left in the work area
-
Please close all windows and doors and move or cover anything that could get damaged before we arrive.
3. Handyman Work
We only do the specific handyman tasks listed on your estimate. We are not a full general contractor, plumber, or electrician for major jobs unless we clearly say so in writing.
We are not responsible for:
-
Problems that were already there
-
Hidden issues we could not see
-
Materials you supplied that turn out to be defective
-
Permits (you are responsible for getting any needed permits)
4. Hazardous Materials
Please tell us if you know of any lead paint, asbestos, or other hazardous materials on the property. We are not responsible for testing or removing these materials unless we agree to it in writing.
5. Property Condition
You agree to give us safe access to the work area. We are not responsible for damage or problems that already existed or that we could not see when we gave the estimate.
6. Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
-
Make sure we can get to the property at the scheduled time
-
Secure pets, valuables, and vehicles
-
Close windows and doors before exterior washing
-
Provide water and electricity if needed
-
Tell us about any special concerns before we start
If these things are not done, we may have to reschedule or charge an extra fee.
7. Right to Stop Work
We can stop or refuse to continue work if conditions are unsafe, if you have not met your responsibilities, or if continuing would risk damage or injury.
8. Payment
The price is shown on your approved estimate. By approving it, you agree to pay the full amount and allow us to charge any card or payment method you have on file. Late payments may have extra fees.
9. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By approving the estimate, you agree that you will not file a chargeback or payment dispute without first trying to resolve the issue with us directly.
If you file a chargeback for work we properly completed, you agree to pay our costs to fight it, including fees and collection costs. We may use photos, messages, and records as proof.
10. Cancellations & No-Shows
Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or if we arrive and cannot do the work (because of access problems, for example) may result in a fee.
11. Weather
You understand that washing and some outdoor handyman work depend on the weather. We may reschedule if the weather is unsafe or will hurt the quality of the job (rain, high wind, lightning, extreme temperatures, etc.).
Weather delays are not a breach of this Agreement, and neither side will be charged a fee just because of weather. We will contact you to set a new date as soon as we can.
12. Satisfaction
We will do the work carefully and professionally. If you are not happy with the results, please tell us in writing within 7 days so we can try to fix it. Waiting longer may limit what we can do.
13. Limited Warranty
Soft washing / pressure washing: We clean the surfaces at the time of service. We do not guarantee that algae or mildew will never come back. Shade, moisture, and nearby trees affect how fast it returns.
Handyman work: We warrant our workmanship for 30 days. This does not cover problems that were already there, normal wear, or materials you provided.
14. Insurance
We carry general liability insurance. Your homeowners or property insurance is still the primary coverage for your property. We can provide proof of insurance if you ask.
15. Limit of Our Liability
Our total responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the specific job. We are not responsible for indirect or extra damages (such as water getting inside, plant damage, or loss of use of the property).
16. Holding Us Harmless
You agree not to hold us responsible for problems caused by:
-
Your own actions or failure to follow instructions
-
Conditions you did not tell us about
-
Damage that already existed
-
Water intrusion related to the condition of your property
17. Communication
You agree that we may contact you by phone, text, or email about the job. Normal message and data rates may apply.
18. Photos & Marketing
You give us permission to take and use photos or videos of the work for our marketing (website, social media, etc.), unless you tell us in writing before the job that you do not want photos used.
19. Ending the Agreement
This Agreement stays in effect until the work is finished or one of us ends it. If the job is cancelled before we start, you still need to pay for any costs we already had.
20. Disputes
If we have a disagreement, we will first try to work it out directly. If we cannot, any legal action must be filed in Gwinnett County, Georgia. The winning side may recover reasonable attorney’s fees.
21. Other Standard Terms
-
If one part of this Agreement is found invalid, the rest still applies.
-
This document plus your approved estimate is the full agreement between us.
-
Any changes must be agreed to in writing.
-
Georgia law governs this Agreement.
22. Acceptance
By approving the estimate (signing, clicking “Approve,” or accepting by email or text), you agree to everything in this Agreement. That approval is legally binding.
